PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING ANY SERVICES.

These Talk to a Registered Dietitian Terms & Conditions (“RD Terms”) apply to your use of and participation in the Talk to a Registered Dietitian Services (“RD Services”) provided by Nestlé Health Science U.S., or its affiliates, subsidiaries, and related entities (collectively, “Nestlé,” “we,” “us,” “our,” or “Company”).  These RD Terms are in addition to the Terms of Use located on our website. The Terms of Use are incorporated into these RD Terms by reference and can be located here.

The RD Services are not intended to be dietitians, nutrition practice or nutrition counseling as such terms are defined under state laws. The information provided in the RD Services is information generally available and based on the information available at the time. The RD Services are not intended to practice medicine or to undertake the diagnosis, prevention, treatment, or cure of any disease, pain, deformity, injury, or physical or mental condition. WE DO NOT PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL SERVICES OR ADVICE NOR ARE THE RD CONNECT SERVICS INTENDED TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL SERVICE OR ADVICE. THE SERVICES ARE NOT THE PRACTICE MEDICINE NOR ARE THEY INTENDED TO UNDERTAKE THE DIAGNOSIS, PREVENTION, TREATMENT, OR CURE OF ANY DISEASE, PAIN, DEFORMITY, INJURY, IMPAIREMENT, INFIRMITY OR PHYSICAL OR MENTAL CONDITION AND THE SERVICES IS NOT INTENDED TO CURE ANY DISEASE, DISORDER, OR CONDITION.

Further, the RD Services do not integrate or apply scientific principles of food, nutrition, biochemistry, physiology, and management, and the behavioral and social sciences in achieving and maintaining the health of people through the life cycle and in the treatment of disease. The RD Services do not develop, assess, recommend or establish personal goals, needs or objectives for a particular person.

The RD Services are for educational and informational purposes only. Nestlé and its employees and representatives are not medical professionals, and we do not provide medical services or provide medical advice. Please seek the advice of a physician or a medical professional with any questions you may have regarding your health before beginning anything that may be referenced or discussed through the RD Services. If you are being treated for an illness, taking prescription medication or following a therapeutic diet to treat a disease, it is especially urged to consult with your physician before using the RD Services. You represent and warrant to us, that you are not using the RD Services for the purpose of seeking medical attention. You further agree that, before using the RD Services, you shall consult your physician, particularly if you are at risk for problems resulting from exercise or changes in your diet. If any information you receive or obtain from using the RD Services that is inconsistent with the medical advice from your physician, you should follow the advice of your physician.

You consent to the RD Services being provided over the internet using audio and visual communication tools. No diagnosis or treatment of, or advice regarding, any medical or mental health condition or illness will be communicated through such communication tools. The RD Services are provided pursuant to Nestlé Health Science Privacy Policy. The RD Services are not intended to provide any form of “telehealth” service as such term is defined under applicable laws.
