Celebrating Women's History Month: Nestlé Health Science Honors Trailblazers and Empowers Future Generations
Showcasing remarkable female leaders, supporting impactful nonprofits, and engaging employees with educational opportunities
Women's History Month is a time to reflect on the remarkable achievements, contributions, and resilience of women throughout history. It is a month dedicated to recognizing the trailblazers who have shattered barriers, challenged societal norms, and paved the way for progress.
At Nestlé Health Science, we believe in the power of celebrating and uplifting women. By honoring Women's History Month, we acknowledge the invaluable role women have played in shaping our world. Their stories inspire us to push boundaries and strive for a more inclusive and equitable society.
Showcasing "Women Who Shine"
As one example of our celebrations throughout March, Nature's Bounty Optimal Solutions is showcasing the incredible women behind the brand. Through interviews and features, we delve into their journeys, accomplishments, and the women who have inspired them along the way. Learn more about these remarkable women online here. Join us in celebrating their achievements and the impact they have made within our organization.
Supporting Women & Girls’ Organizations
Nestlé Health Science proudly continues its support for Girls Inc., the leading organization dedicated to empowering girls and helping them reach their full potential. This Women's History Month, as part of an ongoing grant presented by Nestlé Health Science, we are excited to support programming that focuses on self-care and physical well-being, showcasing the power of nurturing oneself. This partnership demonstrates the company's commitment to empowering and uplifting young women, providing them with opportunities for growth and success.
"Nestlé's partnership with Girls Inc. of Long Island helps foster a ripple effect of positive change, leading to stronger futures for girls, their families, and communities. Girls Inc. addresses health disparities, gender inequalities, and key challenges and barriers that girls face on their journeys to reach their full potential. We're excited to have Nestlé play a transformative role in helping us shape a more equitable and sustainable future for all girls." says Renee Flagler, Executive Director of Girls Inc. of Long Island.
Additionally, we have launched an employee matching campaign to raise awareness and support women-centric organizations such as Girls on the Run, Girls with Impact, and Long Island Against Domestic Violence. The Nestlé Health Science Foundation, the charitable arm of the business, will match all donations made through the platform, encouraging employees to contribute and make a positive impact in the lives of women and girls.
Engaging Our Team Through Education & Events
To celebrate with employees and urge the importance of celebrating women throughout March and beyond, Nestlé Health Science has organized several internal events to celebrate and empower women. These events are aimed at providing opportunities for learning, inspiration, and support, while also promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion. Led by our Employee Resource Groups, in partnership with teams throughout the Nestlé organization, these events include executive leader panels, function-specific roundtables, professional career workshops and more.
Join us in celebrating Women's History Month and let us continue honoring the women who have paved the way, celebrating the women who continue to make a difference, and inspiring future generations of women to shine.
